SWG Successfully Hosts "SWG Tech Roadshow Bandung 2025 – Intelligent Infrastructure by IBM"

Bandung, October 16, 2025 – PT Sinergi Wahana Gemilang (SWG), IBM’s Value Added Distributor in Indonesia, supported by IBM Indonesia, successfully held the "SWG Tech Roadshow Bandung 2025 – Intelligent Infrastructure by IBM."
The event showcased IBM’s latest technology portfolio focusing on real-time observability, storage infrastructure modernization, and comprehensive technology lifecycle support.
The program began at 9:00 a.m. and was opened by Silviana Suryadinata, Head of IBM Division, PT Sinergi Wahana Gemilang. It continued with three main sessions presented by specialists from SWG and IBM Indonesia, and concluded with feedback form fulfilment, a lucky draw, and a networking lunch with participants.
IBM Instana: Real-Time Observability Platform
The first session, delivered by Karina Meidayanti Suarna, Product Specialist, IBM Software Automation, PT Sinergi Wahana Gemilang, discussed IBM Instana, an enterprise observability platform that provides complete visibility into application performance across the entire monitoring lifecycle.
IBM Instana offers automated full-stack visibility, including real-time change detection, mapping, tracing, and automated profiling. It also delivers accurate, contextual data for every team—helping reduce Mean Time to Restore (MTTR) and accelerating issue resolution through intelligent analysis and automated actions.

IBM FlashSystem: Modernization and Securing Infrastructure
The second session was presented by Fernando Nathaniel, Product Specialist, IBM Hardware, PT Sinergi Wahana Gemilang, who introduced the IBM FlashSystem Portfolio—a modern storage solution designed for security, flexibility, and high performance.
The FlashSystem portfolio includes entry, midrange, and high-end models, such as FlashSystem 5015, 5045, 5300, 7300, 9500, and 9500R.All models are powered by IBM Storage Virtualize, enabling hybrid cloud integration and seamless data migration across platforms without operational disruption.
Other key features include IBM FlashCore Modules (FCM4) with AI-enabled ransomware threat detection at the hardware level—without any performance degradation—and Safeguarded Copy, which protects immutable data copies from modification or deletion, even during ransomware attacks.
With IBM Storage Insights Pro integration, FlashSystem can detect threats in real-time, send alerts to SIEM/SOAR systems, and accelerate post-incident recovery.
IBM Technology Lifecycle Services (TLS): Comprehensive Technology Support
The final session was delivered by James Chandra, TLS Renewal & Expansion Sales, IBM Indonesia, who explained the IBM Technology Lifecycle Services (TLS) portfolio—an end-to-end infrastructure support service that helps customers maintain system performance and security throughout the entire technology lifecycle.
IBM TLS currently supports over 14,000 clients worldwide, handling approximately 4.5 million incidents annually, with 1.9 million of them resolved through automation, and has identified over 1.5 million active security alerts via IBM Support Insights.

Closing and Networking
The event concluded with remarks from Christina Sutedja, Senior Manager Geo Expansion, PT Sinergi Wahana Gemilang, who expressed appreciation to all participants for their active engagement and support throughout the event.
After the closing session, participants had the opportunity to complete the feedback form and join the lucky draw, followed by a networking lunch session.
