SWG Participates in BPD Go Digital with Support from IBM

Bandung, November 2025 — PT Sinergi Wahana Gemilang (SWG), with the support of IBM, participated in the event “BPD Go Digital: Compliance & Innovation,” a strategic forum organized by Mitra Mandiri Informatika (MMI) in collaboration with the Regional Development Banks Association (Asbanda). The event was held on 12–14 November 2025 at Pullman Bandung Grand Central and served as a collaborative platform bringing together Regional Development Banks (BPDs), regulators, and technology solution providers.
BPD Go Digital: Compliance & Innovation is a forum designed to encourage the digital transformation of regional banks through strategic alignment, the adoption of technologies aligned with the BPD roadmap, and direct engagement between BPDs and trusted technology providers. In this context, the forum also emphasized the importance of regulatory compliance and technological innovation in supporting the sustainability of the regional banking industry.
As part of its participation, SWG hosted an exhibition booth to facilitate direct interaction with BPD executives, regulators, and other industry stakeholders. Through this booth, SWG showcased IBM solutions and approaches that support strengthened governance, regulatory compliance, and a measured, sustainable digital transformation for BPDs.
In line with the event theme, IBM also contributed as a speaker through Winton Huang, Client Engineering Leader at IBM, who delivered a presentation on compliance with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDP Law) No. 27 of 2022. During the session, IBM highlighted the role of IBM Security Guardium, supported by data discovery and data governance capabilities, in helping the banking sector identify, protect, and manage personal data to meet regulatory requirements.
The presence of SWG, supported by IBM, reflects a shared commitment to assisting BPDs in addressing the challenges of digital transformation, particularly in the areas of data security, regulatory compliance, and the adoption of innovative technologies. Through this forum, SWG, with IBM’s support, aims to actively contribute to strengthening a regional banking ecosystem that is secure, compliant, and adaptive to technological advancements.
